Our Program adhere to The SwimSafer™ 2.0 program from SportSG. The program aims to teach swimming proficiency and water survival skills to children to minimize drowning incidences in a fun manner.

The program has six stages. It includes survival and activity skills that are taught  progressively to enable the child to advanced towards the next stage. We have incorporate some practices from our years of coaching and teaching to make it easier and make fun for your child.

Once we ensure that your child reach a level of proficiency, we will arrange for your  child for the practical test followed by an online theory test. Your child will receive an certificate upon completion of both tests.

Heading 6Our

Stage 1 Introduction to Water Skills

It is to develop confidence and independence in the water, learn general and deep-end water safety. Techniques taught include floating on the front and back for 10 seconds, how to entry and exit the water safety. There is also some personal water safety with and without goggles

Stage 2: Fundamental Water Skills

This stage will teaches how to swim 25m continuously without stopping, entering and exiting the water without any assistance. Techinques include recovering an object in deep water

Stage 3 : Personal & Stroke Development Skills

Entry skills such as the stride jump will be taught. Skills include sculling, underwater skills and putting on a personal flotation device (PFD) whilst in water and swimming with it. One of the goals is to able to swim 50m using front crawl and back stroke.

Bronze: Personal Survival & Stroke Improvement Skills

We will focus on the student’s stroke techniques here, along with coordinated breathing in deep water. We will also the introduce throw rescues and more personal survival skills. One of the goals is to swim 100m using four strokes; front crawl, back stroke, breast stroke and survival backstroke.

Silver: Intermediate Personal Survival & Stroke Refinement Skills

Diving will be introduced. Development of personal survival knowledge will continue with techniques that will aid in escape when in dangerous situations on water. Students will be required to demonstrate efficient stroke techniques by swimming a variety of strokes over 200m within a given time frame.

Gold: Advance Personal Survival & Swimming Skill Proficiency

Students will be required to perform a variety of strokes with efficiency over 400m within a given time frame for each stroke. More personal survival skills like making use of clothing to make a personal floating device and swim with them to shore. Additional skills include putting on a life jacket in water and demonstrating the Heat Escape Lessening Posture technique will be taught.
